Wafel is AppSignal's design system, our standardized collection of design tokens, components, and patterns used to build the product. It is maintained by the AppSignal product team and serves as the single source of truth for both designers and developers.

By the way, why "Wafel"?
The word wafel is Dutch for waffle. The English "waffle" comes directly from this Dutch word, tracing back to an Old High German term meaning "honeycomb" and the root for "weave."
We are weaving something nice for the developers, and shipping some nice stroopwafels to our users, so… why not?
