Use a Drawer when users need to interact with additional content without losing sight of the page behind it. Because the background remains visible and interactive, Drawers are ideal for tasks where context switching between the panel and the main view is expected.
The Logging screen uses a Drawer to display log detail information. When a user clicks a log entry in the list, the Drawer slides in with the full log payload while the log list remains visible and scrollable in the background.
